TAC Launches Free Skincare Consultation Drive

The Aesthetic Clinic claimed to have offered over 1,000 complimentary skincare consultations in one day, setting a new benchmark for the biggest worldwide effort of its type. These sessions took place at TAC’s Ikeja, Lagos location and were also available online to participants across the globe.

The campaign, organized to celebrate National Skin Care Awareness Month in September, sought to inform the public about skin health, proper practices, and timely action. Clinical Director Dr Fola David mentioned that the program was created to eliminate obstacles to access, enabling all registered individuals to obtain professional guidance irrespective of their location.

The skin is the body’s biggest organ, and it shows what’s happening internally. Many people ignore it until there’s a significant issue.

“This effort focuses on assisting individuals in taking that initial step towards better skin, ensuring that cost does not stand in the way,” said Dr. David.

Clients who took part in the consultations were later given treatments at a 60 percent discount for their initial session. Oluwatosin Mesioye, Branch Manager in Ikeja, highlighted the social element of the program, pointing out that an increasing number of individuals are aiming to feel confident about their natural skin instead of depending on cosmetics.

The discussions covered various skin issues, with hyperpigmentation and acne being the most common problems. TAC used a systematic method, examining each case beforehand to make sure clients were seen by the right expert, whether a dermatologist or an aesthetician.

“Consultation is essential, as often what you believe you need may not be what your skin truly needs. The outcomes, rather than the claims, are what persuade individuals,” Mesioye stated.

In addition to the awareness initiative, TAC provides a comprehensive selection of cosmetic services such as facials, Botox injections, fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, and customised treatments designed to meet personal requirements. Mesioye highlighted that the clinic’s commitment to achieving results, offering cost-effective solutions, and delivering expert care has built client confidence.

Dr. David stated that the program will turn into an annual event, with intentions to increase the number of consultations worldwide. “This year we provided 1,000. Next year, our goal is to reach 5,000 consultations globally. We are dedicated to ensuring skin health is available to all, and we will continue to set higher standards,” he mentioned.

Both leaders also urged Nigerians to focus on safe and proper skincare practices. “You don’t need to bleach your skin or make significant changes to it to be beautiful. Be proud of your natural skin, and if you decide to improve it, do so in a healthy way with the guidance of professionals,” Mesioye advised.
