Okpebholo: Tinubu Paving Way for Nigeria’s Rise

The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has stated that the actions and choices made by President Bola Tinubu are leading the nation toward economic stability and development.

Governor Okpebholo, during a state-wide broadcast commemorating Nigeria’s 65th independence day, stated that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda accurately represented the spirit of independence.

The governor of Edo stated that he has continued to concentrate on the path of restoring Edo State into a region characterized by peace, chances, and advancement.

He mentioned that his government has made significant efforts to enhance safety in Edo, along with repairing roads, improving schools and hospitals, and providing prospects for young people.

As he stated, “This is merely the start, but it demonstrates that Edo is progressing forward.”

We appreciate the President and Commander-in-Chief, our father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his work in positioning Nigeria for excellence.

Within two years of the President Tinubu administration, Nigeria has escaped the turmoil of prolonged fuel lines, and from the evil subsidy schemes that drained our national resources and left the people in deep poverty.

The New Hope has also boosted our economy and released the states from the need to wait for bailouts in Abuja before they could settle workers’ salaries. That time has ended. We can only express gratitude for these and many other actions taken by the Tinubu administration.

Mr. President, Edo is by your side.

Dear fellow citizens, independence goes beyond being free from external control. It requires solidarity and collaboration to fully utilize the possibilities that freedom brings. We should constantly remind ourselves that we can accomplish more when we unite as people of Edo.

To our young people and children: You are the pulse of this state. Never succumb to hopelessness. Your vigor and abilities are essential for our future, and this government will keep supporting you.
