Prophet Asamoah Earns PhD in Zambia

A Ghanaian gospel musician and government official, Daniel Asamoah, who is widely recognized as “The Singing Prophet,” has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health from the Livingstone International University of Tourism Excellence and Business Management (LIUTEBM) located in Lusaka, Zambia.

The commencement event took place on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka.

Dr. Asamoah’s thesis, entitled “Healthcare Facilities Regulations in Ghana: Compliance and Challenges,” showcases his knowledge and creative methods for tackling important issues within Ghana’s healthcare system.

His studies are anticipated to make a substantial impact on healthcare regulations and public health policy in Ghana and other regions.

In addition to being a gospel musician famous for the popular track “Di Yen Anim,” the artist has established himself as a credible expert in health regulation, setting up healthcare facilities, and creating Standard Operating Procedures.

His scholarly accomplishments demonstrate his commitment to improving healthcare regulation and public health policy.

Eleven additional Ghanaians who have also received PhDs in different fields like Public Health are Dr. Jennifer Andoh, Dr. Mabel Afi Togbe, Dr. Catherine Armah, Dr. Gifty Dede Mateko Angmor, Dr. Augustina Ampah, and Dr. Hafez Adam Taher.

The others include Dr. Felix Ahima-Adonteng, Dr. Raphael John Marfo, Project Dr. Joseph Okine, and Dr. Isaac Setordzi.
